Day job(s): I design traditional, hybrid, and online courses in HigherEd and across private industries with FIU Online's Continuing and Professional Education team. I also write and edit executive, internal, and external communications for FIU Online. I serve as an adjunct as an instructor in Writing and Rhetoric at FIU. I teach college composition to both international and domestic students.
I also worked in digital and traditional communications for cultural non-profits like O, Miami and served as an editorial associate for an independent publisher, Jai-Alai Books. Professional argot: I have experience in instructional design; learning management systems; social media management; community engagement; community outreach; non-profit support; digital strategy; digital marketing; college teaching; specialized tutoring; copywriting; internal & external communications; Higher Ed; Higher Ed communications; copy editing; editing; conference speaking; events operations; and administrative support. I earned a BA in English with a minor in Religious Studies, and an MFA in Creative Writing at Florida International University.
